Synopsis

What happens in the meeting between a musician and a visual artist? Between music as sound, and the sounds of nature that accompany the film's images – for mutual inspiration. A collaboration between an internationally renowned jazz musician and composer – Nils Petter Molvær and a distinguished visual artist and photographer – Per Maning. Both have long careers behind them. Both are curious about exploring the possibilities that unexpected interactions can lead to. The result is a documentary where they move into each other's worlds and allow their expressions to be challenged, shifted and merged.
